Who are Norfolk SENDIASS?

 

Norfolk SENDIASS give information, advice and support to children, young people and parent carers about Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

  • We are a free, confidential service.
  • We are Impartial, which means we treat everyone equally.

 

How can Norfolk SENDIASS help me?

  • We can give you information about Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • We can support you at meetings.  We can help you have you voice heard.
  • We can give you advice about your next steps in education and training.
  • We can train you about SEND law and how it affects you.  We can tell you about your rights.
  • We can speak to you in person or on the phone.

What support can you give me?

  • We can support you at meetings about your education and training.

Who are the Engagement and Support Workers? How can they help me?

The Engagement and Support Workers are Bridget, Jo and Laura. 

  • We work with children and young people with SEND.
  • We can help you have your voice heard. 
  • We can come to meetings about your education and training with you.
  • We can give you advice about your rights.
  • We can give you information to help you make choices about your education and training.
  • We can help you ask for the support you need.
