Face to face appointment

The Engagement and Advice team are offering some drop in sessions and face to face appointments for parent/carers and young people across the Norfolk Hubs in the upcoming weeks and months. 

Come along and chat face to face with a member of our Engagement and Advice Team about Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND). Please be aware as these appointments are only 20 minutes we will not be able to assist with SEND Paperwork.

We can give information on:

• The law on Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Disability, Health and Social Care (where they link to education)
• Local policy and practice
• Personal budgets and working together
• The Local Offer
• Education Health and Care Plans (EHCP)
• Transition arrangements
• Mediation and dispute resolution
• Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Tribunal Service
• Complaints procedures
• Admissions and Exclusions
• POST 16 provision
• Working in partnership with schools and the Local Authority to develop positive relationships
• Signposting to other services for information, advice and support
• What to do when things go wrong
